Things have been crazy around here. Kameryn got super sick a few days ago and was hospitalized. She was vomitting non stop for a full 24 hours so we decided to take her into Childrens Mercy urgent care. Before we left home we checked all her signs and didn't think that she was dehydrated. I had been giving her 1tbs of fluids every 15 mins but that just caused her to get sick. On the way to the hospital she got sick several times and then really quiet. When I got there I went to get her out of the car she was not responding to me. So I carried her into the hospital. They got her on fluids and ran some test. They found out she was extremely dehydrated and transferred her downtown by ambulance so we could be admitted. We stayed at the hospital for 2 nights and then was able to go home on Wednesday. Once she got fluids in her she was fine. So glad to have her back to normal. That was very scary and made me feel like there was nothing I could of done here to help her which is really hard to think about. Anyways on a positive note, it is so nice to be home. Kameryn and I missed the babies and daddy!

Madalynn and Makenzie are now 11 months. They are getting so big! They are close to walking, which is exciting because I figured that they would walk later. Just because they had acid reflux so bad that they didn't get very much tummy time. But they seem to be on track. They are both talking like crazy. I have been super busy planning their big 1st birthday party. It is a lot harder with 2 when you are trying to make it extra special for each of them.

Kameryn has been doing good other than being sick. Preschool is going great! Daddy was able to go on a fieldtrip with her which she loved. She is making a lot of new friends. I hear new names everyday. She is also loving staying longer 1 day a week. It is super exciting to eat lunch at school.

Richard and I have been super busy... The girls keep us on our toes and I can't imagine what life is going to be like when they are all involved in extra curricular activities. Soccer is officially over and they have their end of the season party on Sunday. I think Kameryn will play in the spring. We are leaving that totally up to her. She mentioned t-ball but she can't do that until she is 5. Richard did a great job coaching too. It truely showed how much patiences he has.

First... We went to Omaha over the labor day weekend. Girls had a lot of fun. Kameryn got a little tired toward the end of the zoo trip but she was such a trooper. They loved staying in the hotel. Although Madalynn and Makenzie had a hard time sleeping in the pack and plays. Kameryn loved swimming in the pool everyday and going shopping. We were glad to get home though. Its nice to go on vacation but with babies it is had.

Second... Kameryn had her first day of preschool! She had tons of fun! Although when she got home from school she couldn't remember what she did. Thank goodness for tons of things in her bag at the end of the week so mommy can know whats going on. They are working on a lot of the same stuff as last year so she is a little bored. Mommy and her are working on sight words. She loves being able to "read" It also gives her something new to do. We are also working on writing her last name...

Kameryn also started choir at church. She had a great time. They meet once a week and then perform once a month at church. She loves it and there are tons of kids in it.

Richard and I have been staying busy. I think tonight is the first night at home in a long time and we are going to enjoy it! I can not imagine how busy life is going to be when Kameryn, Madalynn and Makenzie are all doing things at night!

Madalynn and Makenzie are both pulling up. Madalynn does a little crusing and Makenzie no longer army crawls. They are really on track to walk early like big sister and I can't wait. I don't think my back can take carrying both of them very much longer. They are both also talking like crazy. They have a little game where they both scream at each other. Really funny for them but not for me. First time they did it was during naptime and I freak and ran in there. Needless to say there was just to silly babies laughing at me. They have become such great friends lately. Hugging, kissing and playing together. It really is a great feeling seeing my children interact. Their big first birthday is coming soon and I can't believe it!

Kameryn had her first 2 practices and her first game!! She has been so excited but is a little timid towards the ball. She loves running around with the kids though! We really just want her to get a little more aggressive and learn how to work as a team. And of course to have FUN!! Richard had fun coaching her! I didn't get many photos because I left my camera in the car first half and then my camera was messing up but I will get some next game.

M&M are doing great. Pulling up on things, getting into things... The typical fun things babies do at this age! We got the whole living room gated off so they can't get into too much trouble. Kameryn always tells me when I forget to shut it and I get a little friend following me.

On a side note... Kameryn said she was done being a drama queen and we can take the sign out of her room. Good to know..

All my girls. Sorry Kam I cut you off a little. For some reason they were not wanting to get closer.

Maddie and Kenzie are 9 months old. Time has flown by. Yesterday they had their appointment. They were not excited at all about the shots. It is very hard for a mom of twins to take her babies to get shots because you want to comfort them forever but the next baby has to get hers. Anyways they are doing great. Growing, growing growing... Makenzie is 19lbs 5 ozs and 27 inches long. Maddie is 18 lbs 1 oz and 28 inches long. Both of them can now say Mama and Dada. So exciting. I am starting to think Maddie knows what it means too. Today someone was holding her and she stuck her arms out to me and said mama. So cute :) At the end of their appt yesterday the doctor said... see you at 12 months. Wow is 12 months really coming up. This does not seem possible.

Kameryn is doing good. Had a blast at the spray park. Had a blast at soccer practice yesterday. She did really good too! I am so proud! Can't wait to see her games. At this age they are so cute playing. I kept laughing at how some of the kids would kick the ball and then look back at their parents to see if they were watching. Kameryn ran over for a water break and her face was bright red. Looks like she gets that from Mommy! :)

This weekend has went by way too fast...

Kameryn is super excited about soccer which practice starts on Thursday!! She has everything ready to go and even picked out #3 as her number for her uniform. She is also excited for preschool but that doesn't start until Sept. We are anxiously awaiting to find out who her teacher is going to be. This weekend we went out and got all her school supplies. She was super excited about that. Of course she wanted a new backpack but the High School Musical one she had from last year looked brand new. I told her she could get a new one next year for Kindergarten.

They had fun tonight at Richards softball game. Madalynn and Makenzie love being the center of the attention when we are out in public. They both however have been biting like crazy. Luckily it has only been me and Richard. On Saturday Madalynn got my lip really good. Thats what I get for thinking she was wanting a kiss :)

This weekend we went and had pictures taken with my whole family. The kids really enjoyed it. We did too! It was nice seeing everyone. Crazy how big my family has gotten! I will post some pics when we get them! We also had family pics done of just us. My mom took them and I know they are going to be awesome. I will post them too soon. Kameryn was such a model for my mom :) Madalynn and Makenzie made her work for even the slightest happy face.

I can not believe it is August already. This summer has just flown by. Soon Kameryn will be back at preschool. She doesn't officially start until early September. This year she is a Bigger Angel (that is what her school calls her age). She is so excited that she gets to go to class in the lower part of the preschool. Funny the things that amuze them. We are going shopping this weekend for school clothes and supplies. Kameryn is super excited and so am I! I love back to school time but hate her being gone an extra day. I can't even image how hard its going to be when she goes to kindergarten next year.

This year Kameryn is also starting soccer. She has been out practicing with Richard all the time. This is a big thing for Kameryn because up until now anything that involved running was out. She is such a girl! Atleast at soccer she will not have a dress on that she can twirl in :)

Madalynn and Makenzie are doing awesome. Getting more teeth by day and changing by the minute. Makenzie was laying down the other day and was pulling a blanket over her head and quickly pulling it down to play peek a boo. First time she has ever done that. It was sooo cute! It is so much fun when they learn to do things. She also is clapping all the time now. As of yesterday they both have gone from their bellys to their bottoms. They are also both trying to pull up and stand. I don't see walking too far in the distance.

Madalynn was doing the cutest thing last night. We went to the night at against crime here (great thing for the kids by the way) and we tied Kameryns ballon onto the stroller well it kept blowing towards her and she was giggling so loud. She kept pulling it closer to her and she thought it was hilarious. This must have gone on for 30 mins. I am glad she can entertain herself. Madalynn is really liking being down to play. Now that they can crawl, they want to go go go.

Richard is doing good. I know he is ready for work to slow down a bit. He has been extremely busy. He is playing softball for our church. I know he has been enjoying that. I think he is using muscles though that haven't been used in a while. This week he was really sore afterwards. I guess that is just the old age talking. :) He is also going to coach Kameryn in soccer. He is extremely excited about that. He is great with kids so I know he will do well.

I have been doing good too. Keeping busy but that is always good. Finished all my twilight books and trying not to listen in when others say some book was good. I got so wrapped up in twilight that I am sure Richard thought I was non-existant during the time I was reading it. Sunday school for summer is coming to an end soon. It has been tough this summer because Richard has been getting Madalynn and Makenzie ready because I left before they finished their bottles. I know that has been hard on Richard because mornings are not his friends. I don't think I will sign on for the fall but will when the girls get a little older. I have really enjoyed it this year!

The girls have kept me super busy!! Madalynn and Makenzie are now 8 months old. Sitting up and army crawling. Teeth Count.. Makenzie has 6 and Maddie has 3. The girls are so close to crawling... I was down about them not crawling when Kameryn did but the doctor reminded me that with them both having Acid Reflux I was not able to put them down for tummy time near as much as I did with Kam. Makes me feel a little better but also gives me desire to work harder on it with them. Both girls are talking up a storm.... Makenzie now says Baba when she wants to eat. Very cute! Both of the girls are also pulling themselves up to stand. I don't think walking is going to be too far away.

Kameryn just turned 4. She is growing like crazy too. She had a great birthday and birthday party. This year was her first with inviting friends and she loved it! One sad thing is we got her a huge doll house for her bday and it was missing 3 bolts. Richard went and checked hardware stores and even the store purchased and we have to wait for the company to ship it to us. I feel bad that she has to wait so long for a bday present but it will be worth it. She is getting ready to start her last year of preschool in September. Makes me sad to think she is going to be in Kindergarten soon.

Richard and I are doing good. Keeping busy. Richard is going to be coaching Kam in soccer this fall and they are both really excited. We are both hoping that the housing market comes around really soon so we can move into a bigger house. We would love to have a 4 bedroom but right now if we sold our house we would take a huge loss since we have only lived here 2.5 years.

Anyways I will do better to keep this up and updated pictures!!!

Yay!! Madalynn and Makenzie turned 6 months. I am so happy about that. I can not believe how fast it has gone by. They are doing great. I am making them jar food and they are really liking it. It actually isn't as hard as I thought it would be. They are changing daily. I can not believe how much Kenzie looks like Richard and she does more and more as she gets older. Maddie still looks like me.... I see some of Kameryn in her too. She is so different from Kam and Makenzie. Blonde hair blue eyes, light skin but I love it. Both babies can now stand up while holding on to something. Of course with my support but they are doing awesome! Both girls are still talking up a storm. Makenzie has added a few more words but no dada (sorry rich). She can say mama, baba, wawa, hi.. seems like everyday she is getting more and more sounds. Maddie said DA yesterday... I am pretty sure her first word will be dada. Kenzie now has 2 teeth. Got her second on mothers day. Maddie is still toothless but she is so close I can see her gums are super swollen. It is amazing how the twins are so different.

Kameryns 1st year of preschool ended. She had a blast and will miss it. I can not believe how much she has changed in just a year. She is so smart and so helpful (I am bias). She has made friends at preschool which is really cute. She is going to start summer sunday school soon and then vacation bible school so atleast she will have some things to do this summer. One more year of preschool and she is kindergarten bound. Makes me really sad to think. She loves her sisters and I honestly don't know what I would do without Kam. She is such a big help and its nice to have someone to chat with :)

Richard and I just celebrated 5 years of marriage. It is truely a great feeling. We have been through alot. But we are so strong now. I can not imagine how my life was without him. He is a great person and a great father and I am blessed for the years we have been together, they years to come and just being a part of his life. Hard to believe its been 5 years. Let alone together 9 years. I think back to those times and it seems like just yesterday. If the next 5, 10, 15,20, 50 years together is this great I am in for a great life. We really appreciate everyone who has supported our relationship and lives. Richard has given me the best gifts in life; Love and my children and I am happy to be able to share in my everyday with him. Alright... alright... I could go on forever... Anyways we are both doing good. I am getting ready to teach summer sunday school. Super thrilled. Richard is busy busy at work. Same ole same ole.

Anyways sorry for the long message... I need to update more often and will make an effort to do so.

March for Babies

We walked in the March of Dimes March for babies today. We have a great time. Kameryn and I made t-shirts to go with the group we were going with. Kameryn had a blast. There was a lot for them to do there and it was amazing how many people were there to help out! I never had to deal with having babies early but know many people who have so my heart goes out to them and someday I hope that babies are able to be born into a world without premature births.

The girls are doing excellent. Kameryn only has 2 more weeks left of preschool. I don't know what she is going to do without it. I keep telling her that she will be back in the fall. She has been acting a lot lately.. very cute. I have never met someone so young that can just be so into acting. We may have a little Actress on our hands. She will reenact a show that she sees. Very cute stuff.

Madalynn is doing great. She is growing like crazy. Talking up a storm. No 1st words yet for her but she is babbling like crazy. She is soo close to crawling. She has really come around lately on laughing. Kameryn seems to make her laugh at a drop of a hat. So cute to see them interact. Mad is doing great at sitting up and awesome at playing with toys. She loves her jumperoo and exersaucer.

Makenzie is doing awesome too. She is my little butterball... She has gotten her 1st tooth breaking through and is talking up a storm too. She said mama 1st which I was excited because they are supposed to say dada first. The other day she repeated something I said (atleast it sounded that way) I said I love you she repeated something back that sounded like a baby version of it. Richard and I were amazed but of course she said it a few times and then she was done.

Richard and I are doing good. Richards work is busy like crazy. I am managing to keep busy. I really enjoy being able to stay at home with my daughters and I am completely thankful for you opportunity :)

Three girls in a tub!

Girls are doing great! Loving the weather outside and ready for some days outside ahead of us. We have all been a little sick around here lately. Passing the cold around. Hopefully we are at the end of it. It is hard as a mom to not only be sick but to have sick children... Madalynn and Makenzie are growing like crazy. Hard to imagine that they will be 6 months soon. It has gone by too fast. I have enjoyed every minute of it though. Today when they woke up from nap we put them into bed together and Kenzie rolled over to see Maddie and Maddie just babbled to her. You can already see the close connection that they have. It brings tears to my eyes to see that. I wanted for some long for Kameryn to have siblings and then we were blessed with 2 and it is amazing to see how tight sibling bond can be. I hope it stays like this forever.

My cousin got married this weekend and the girls had a blast at the wedding. I think Kameryn was born for wedding. She loves to dance and act wild at weddings... she always seems to fit right in. The wedding was beautiful and it was nice to get out...

I made the girls dresses that matched last week. Kameryn loves hers. I just need to put straps on the girls and I am done! I love them matching but finding time to make them can be difficult! I think they turned out really good!

Kameryn went to a party this weekend and had a great time. She loves that she got to dress up and be the little princess that she is. She told me in the car on the way home that Tinkerbell there wasnt the real one. I asked her how come and she said because mom tinkerbell has blonde hair not brown. She just dresses up for the little kids. I guess somewhere somehow she became a big kid. Very funny!

Things around here have been really drama free. Which has been so nice. I know I am bias but I feel really sorry for the people that are missing out on what amazing kids I have. But again I feel happy to not have to deal with all of the drama that went along with them. For the longest time I felt that it must be me. When you are sucked in for so long you questioned everything but now that things have done a total 180 its nice. I have not been drama free for a long time and honestly its nice. I just wish we didnt have to go to walmart or anyplace else for that matter and worry about seeing them. I still question why we moved here. We almost had the chance to move away but it just wasn't the right time. We will soon but I want us to move because we want to not because of their drama.... It reminds me of a quote I read in one of Kameryns books tonight if you go through life trying to please others or living for others you forget to live for yourself." Enough on that though....

Easter and 5 Months Old!!

The girls are 5 months old today!!! It has been very exciting! They have grown so much and are now so active rolling all over the place, sitting up, trying to army crawl and Makenzie said MAMA for her first word last week! I was so excited but now she won't say it again so Daddy can hear it. At least Kameryn is my witness. She babbles all the time now. It is very cute. She is so close to saying DADA too. Madalynn is starting to babble too. She laughs like crazy at Kameryn. I am very fortunate that my girls are close and all love each other. I can see it in the girls eyes how much they love Kameryn. We are doing really good!

Kameryn is doing great at well! She is getting such a personality. I love how much she loves to sing and now act. The other day I had my phone and she did a little motalog. What 3 year old know what that is but it was very cute. Glad she did it when I was trying my phone video camera out! She had a great easter. Loves the candy, toys and dress she got. She is growing up too fast.

We had a good easter. Very low key but nice. We have developed our own traditions and get to spend time with my family, which is great! I am very fortunate for my parents and sisters. Even though there are many grandkids on my parents side, they treat them fairly and that is great. Plus Kameryn (and I am sure the girls will) loves them soo much!

I asked Kameryn if she knew today why we celebrated easter and she told me its because "God is Alive" hey she is very close... and I am proud that she knew that this day is in rememberance that someone is alive, Jesus is alive! :)

What is with this weather? Snow in Spring? I already packed up all of the girls winter clothes but had to dig them out again this weekend. I love snow but I am ready for spring. Kameryn asked me yesterday if this means santa is going to come soon. I feel bad but its hard to explain that christmas is over when there is snow.

Madalynn and Makenzie are doing great! We are moving them to their rooms. They are ready me not so much. I will enjoy having my room back but I will miss them and having them right there if one of them woke up. But it is for the best! I think Maddie is getting close to crawling. She was getting up on her knees a lot today. I am excited but then I wonder am I ready for 3 Mobile kids? Guess I have to be :)

Kameryn is doing great too. I went to her parent teacher conferences on thursday and was nervous It felt like a job interview. I know how my child is but you never know how they are when you are not around. Everything went great! The teacher said she is doing really good. I am so proud. I have been worried about how she is playing with other kids because she tells me that she plays by herself. Her teacher told me that Kameryn has lots of friends and a lot of the kids like her. That made me really happy. I alway worry because Kam is so good at playing by herself and I didn't know how other kids with sibling closer in age do. We also got bad news on wednesday last week. They are not going to be able to fix Kams tooth. She gets to go 2+ years toothless. I took this really hard because I miss her baby smile. I was supposed to get a few more years of it so I feel robbed but I am coming around. How she lost it was a total accident and I tried to feel guilty about it but I can't. She feel that the doctors office while I was waiting for the nurses to give her sisters shots and it happened quickly... I wish I could prevent every fall she ever has but anyone with kids know that they are so active and experimental that they do sometimes fall and thats ok... I miss her tooth but I get to look forward to a new tooth coming in when every it decides to do so..

Richard and I are doing great! I have been super busy. I think that is the hardest thing on me. I don't think having twins is hard, I just think having kids in general takes work and it has been a huge adjustment. I have decided that I will not be going back to school in the fall. I have an associates degree and was planning on going to start my teaching program in the fall but I can not even imagine that I have time to do it. My nights are crazy and I don't think they will get any better until the girls are done with the bottles. I am home with them until they go to kindergarten so it really doesn't make that big of a deal. I am not upset in anyway. I do not take the girls back at all and know that of all my dreams/hopes in life being a mother is above all of them. I am a mother first and have to do things that work for my family. I know that I will go back and I am excited but making sure my daughters get the care and love they deserve to me is far above that. No feeling or accomplishment can ever take over the feeling I get when Kameryn hugs me or Madalynn and Makenzie smile or laugh at me. That is just an amazing feeling :) For those of you curious. I will go back when the girls are older :)

I can not believe how much the girls are growing. Maddie and Kenzie are now rolling all ways!!! Maddie is sitting up for a little while by her self which is really cool. I think the bumbo seats have a lot to do with that. Note to moms.... bumbo seat = awesome They are also talking like crazy (obviously its their own language still) but it is crazy how much they want to talk to us. Kameryn is doing great! She has been enjoying school... She has also been amazing Richard and myself with how her personality develops.

Maddie and Kenzie started cereal. At first Maddie did not take to it very well. She is now after a week starting to eat it and not spit it out. Makenzie on the other hand loves it and has from day one. We will see how they are when we start jar food at 6 months.

Richard has been working like crazy. Work has really picked up for them. Sometimes I hate that he is the only one who knows how to do his job at his office but I guess it gives him job stablity.

Wow! Things got really busy around here for a while!

The girls are doing great! One the same day Madalynn and Makenzie rolled over from tummy to back and Kameryn wrote her name. That day was very good! I was so proud to be a mommy that day. Madalynn and Makenzie are growing so quickly. I can not believe that they are going to be 4 months on thursday. Their personalities are developing so much. They are so different. I can not imagine what life was like before them. They both now have acid reflux. It will be nice when the spitting up is all over but we still have a ways to go. The girls are doing really well with practicing sitting up and are wanting to crawl so bad. I think this will happen real soon! I am axious to see what the girls weigh on thursday. Maddie is so much taller than Kenzie so it makes Kenzie look like mommys little chunky monkey. The other day I measured their feet and Maddies feet are huge compared to Kenzies.. I do not know where Maddie gets being tall from ;)

Kameryn is doing awesome. She finally gets her tooth fixed on Thursday. She is doing really good in school too. Richard and I are very proud of her. It is amazing how much she has grown too over the last year. Some how she has managed to grow up. Richard was out of town last week in Vegas for work and it was so hard on her. I really think Daddy is starting to grow on her. Him being gone was hard on me too. I never want to be a single mom and I am so blessed to have a husband that is so helpful! Kameryn makes us laugh so much with the things she says. Maybe sometimes we shouldn't laugh but she has such the attitude and it throws us off sometimes :)

My birthday was on the 20th of february. I had a good one. I don't know why but 25 was really hard for me this year. I guess I realized I am not in my early 20's anymore. Maybe this means 30 won't be so bad. Anyways I was glad to spend the day with my loving husband and my beautiful daughters. Hard to imagine that last year at that time I was about to start the fertility treatments that resulted in Mad and Kenz. Best decision we ever made :)

Valentines!!!

Today was a good Valentines Day. Kameryn was really happy when she got up and got a present. We didn't want to get her the typical stuffed animal and candy so, we got her a new HSM purse and a little bit of candy. She seemed to like it. We got Madalynn and Makenzie a new toy. They didn't know what was going on but they sure do seem to like their new toy! I am so glad that Valentines Day was on a Saturday this year so we all got to spend it together. This year we went out to eat the day before because we knew the restaurants would be busy. I can not imagine taking the twins to a restaurant and having to wait a long time to get in, it just wouldn't work. Anyways it was a happy day spending a day of love with the ones I love :)

3 Months OLD!!!

So Madalynn and Makenzie are 3 months today. Time has flown by. They are changing so much so fast right before my eyes. I just love them so much! They are so different but they are perfect in every way and I couldn't ask for 2 better babies. They are starting to really notice each other, it is very cute. I notice them looking for each other at times. Makenzie was laughing at Maddie yesterday... Do not know what she did but apparently it was funny. Kameryn is just loving on them all the time.

Kameryn had her valentines party today. She had a great time! Mommy was able to go with her and she was so happy. Next time Daddy is going with her. Today he had to get a root canal. Not fun, but he said it wasn't too bad... Got to watch a movie the whole time. He leaves soon for Vegas and I am going to miss him like crazy but we will get through...

Anyways we are really looking forward to valentines day this year. Super excited! Will post pics later from that. Hope everyone is doing well :)

The girls are all doing wonderful. Madalynn and Makenzie are cooing all the time and "talking" to us. It is very cute. Maddie is even coming around smiling. She was so serious before and is now smiling a lot more and even laughing. Makenzie is an extremely happy baby! She smiles all the time. Today we put the babies up in front of each other so they could look at each other. They were talking back and forth it was SO cute! I always wonder if they know each from the womb or if they are new to each other.

Kameryn is doing really good. She is getting her tooth fixed on the 18th. She went in and was fit for the tooth and they had to give her laughing gas because she didn't want them to do anything. Other than that she is doing good. She loves preschool so much. I am so glad that she loves going. She is doing really good in class too. She is now practicing writing her name which is a little hard for her since it is so long. We were making out her valentines for her class last week and I was helping her write her name. It is really hard to remember how to make each letter perfectly. Somewhere over time I have taught myself my own way and I want to make sure I teach her correctly.

Richard and I have been doing good. Richard is going to Las Vegas soon for work which he is excited about.. I am not. I have been doing great since the girls are now sleeping from after their last bottle at 9:30 to 9 am. It is always so great when babies reach that milestone. Makenzie is trying so hard to roll over. I will post when she does. We don't get to give her as much tummy time as we would like because of her acid reflux and spitting up when we do so. So I am glad that she is making good use of her time :)

So Kameryn and I got our hair cut today. I desperately needed it. I have always wanted to chop it off but never had the guts because I love being able to put it into a ponytail but today I went for it. Kameryn wasn't sure she wanted to cut her hair either but she did and hers really looks cute!

Kameryn goes to the dentist on Monday to see how her gums have healed and hopefully they set up a time to get her tooth fixed. She is soo excited about that. I am not ready for her to be toothless yet..

Maddie and Kenzie are doing great. Smiling and laughing so much. It is amazing how fast they get to this point. They both absolutely love Kam. They laugh at her all the time. She just loves that too. Sometimes she is up in their faces alot and they let her know. I am really very happy the way that Kameryn has taken to them.

Tonight I went out for some much needed night out with some other moms. It was really nice to get out. I missed my girls but I think its great for a mom to miss their kids sometimes. It makes me a better mom. Plus it is nice to talk to other moms that understand where I am coming from. Richard is such a good sport for staying at home with the girls. They actually had a good night! I was so happy! I really appreciate him because he is soo supportive of me. But yeah, I had fun and the girls there all seemed really nice :)

This week has been a really long week... with Ryan (my brother in law)finding out that he had cancer, all I did all week is pray for their family and worry. I really hope that things turn out alright for them. My sister has been really strong through this even though I know it has been tearing her up inside. But one thing I have learned from all of the fertility treatments is that we have a strong family. And the power of prayer can get people through things. God has plans for everything and even if we don't understand them they all are for reasons. You just have to keep faith and continue to pray even when you think no one is listening. So anyone reading this please keep him in your prayers.

A crazy day!!! 2 months old!

Today the girls are two months old!!! They have changed soo much. They are growing like crazy. At their appointment today Maddie was 9 lbs 7 oz and 22 inches long and Makenzie is 10lbs 1 oz and 21.5 inches long. Both girls are smiling and laughing like crazy. It is so much fun now to have them respond to me when I talk to them. We found out today that Makenzie has acid reflux that isn't too bad but they gave her meds to take for it. She also has a birth mark on her bottom that looks like a big bruise. Doctor said it would fade. But other than that the girls are doing great, sleeping great, and loving big sister Kameryn!

Kameryn gave me quite a scare today. At the doctors office with her sisters she tripped and knocked a tooth out. Went to the dentist and they can not put it back in. So we can either let it go until she gets her big girl tooth in 2-3 years or put in a partial. We are going to put in the partial so there is no chance of it messing up the alignment. It is expensive but we don't want her to be uncomfortable about it. We have to wait until the gum heals up in aproximately 2 weeks to get this done. My little girl looks so grown up with a missing tooth :( Other than that she is doing great. She is taking dance classes and loves it. She had a smile on her face the whole class. I really think this is her thing. Unfortunately it isn't the cheapest thing but whatever makes her happy!

We had a very good christmas this year! Kameryn was really excited and happy Christmas morning. It is always fun when you get to see them so happy about what they got and so nervous to go to bed the night before. She had a really hard time understanding why she couldn't see Santa on Christmas Eve and it took forever to get her to bed that night. On Christmas Eve we went to church. Sad to say this was the first time we vetured out to church since the babies were born. Things have just been too crazy. Anyways it was really nice. Kameryn loved the Christmas sermon that they had and all of the songs and the girls were really good. kameryn really enjoyed learning why we celebrate Christmas and why we get presents. I think Kameryn really enjoyed everything that she got... It is so funny that you spend so much time shopping and wondering what to get them and get some presents of all different prices and the one they love the most are the ones that don't cost much at all.

Madalynn and Makenzie are growing so much.... We were so happy to spend their first christmas with them. Even though they had no clue what was going on it was wonderful having them here with us for Christmas this year. It is hard to believe that on Christmas last year I prayed for another baby and this year here I am blessed with 2 beautiful ones. Kameryn even asked for a sibling to Santa last year. It just broke my heart, she was ready to put all the toys that she wanted aside to get something that mommy wanted so bad. Kids are amazing! Kameryn loved helping her sisters open their presents this year and playing with them. I guess they never get too old for baby toys! A few days before Christmas Madalynn rolled over for the first time.... I did not think that they could do this so early (6 weeks) but here I was laying next to her and she rolled from her tummy to her back. Needless to say it scared me. She hasn't done it since.... so hopefully she does again soon. We always thought that Maddie was going to roll first because she had been trying since the beginning and Makenzie was going to crawl first since she is trying to get up on her knees during tummy time. Funny how children are so different and we are getting to see that first hand with having twins...

We have been getting ready for christmas around here. It has taken me a long time to get the presents wrapped. I should have wrapped a lot when Kameryn had preschool but now that she is on break it is becoming impossible. I guess there is always staying up late on christmas eve.... All of the girls are doing great. Kameryn is super excited for the holidays. Maddie and Kenzie are growing like crazy. They are also staying awake a lot longer so we get to see those beautiful eyes. They are such good babies and we are so blessed. They started sleeping through the night last week. It has been nice and I have felt so much better. Who knew a little sleep was all I need to get through things. I forgot to mention that everything turned out fine with the spot that was found on Makenzie's stomach. It was not cancerous and it was not something messed up in the bladder. They are going to continue to watch it but it was a big relief to know that it wasn't the 2 things I was worried about.

I have been soo stir crazy around here. I wish that is wasn't so cold outside so I could get out and about everyday... I just hate taking the girls out when it is so cold but I also hate staying at home for many days in a row. This is one negative to having babies in the winter. Another is dry skin. The girls hate having lotion put on and I have been putting so much on them to keep them from getting so dry. .. Oh well can't always chose when you are blessed with babies and we will make the best of it. Hope everyone is getting everything they need to get done for the holidays :)

The girls are one month old today! It does not seem like that much time has gone by but it has. I can not believe how much they have changed in a month. They have been doing really good. Makenzie has been smiling a lot today... I have also noticed that both of them follow my voice more. Yesterday while Kameryn was at preschool I was wrapping presents and walking around and they both kept slowly following my legs. It was very cute!

Kameryn had her christmas party at school yesterday. She was so happy that grandma got to go with her. That seems to be all that she talks about. She spent all last night playing with the things that she got from her little friends. I am so happy with her preschool, I really like that she gets to go and learn about god too :) Kameryn also go to decorate for Christmas the other night. We usually put everything up at Thanksgiving but, we have been soo busy. Anyways she really enjoyed it!

Kameryn was so glad to see snow the other night. She kept asking me all day to go out in it. I told her that her sisters we too young to do so and that maybe Daddy could when he got home. Richard took her out when he got home and they had a blast!!!

Kameryn had a christmas program last thursday. Richard and I were both very excited for it. She had been practicing for the last month. She also had a scripture that she had to memorize. I had worked really hard with her on it (it was very hard for her age) and I couldn't get her to remember it in the order she was supposed. So tuesday when she came home from school I asked her about it and she said it perfectly. I guess they really worked on it at school. She was even able to say Luke 211 after. It was so cute! The program was very cute, she did a really good job and we were so proud of her.

The girls are all doing good! I just love having them all here. It is crazy but my life finally feels normal. I can not believe that Maddie and Kenzie are going to be a month old. It does not seem like it has been that long. They are both doing really well. There is not a day that goes by that we don't think about how blessed we really are. Going to the stores with them is really hard though because we get stopped so much. Yes we love having people admire our children, but sometimes I just need to get what I need and get out. Richard and I have decided that maybe sometimes it might be easier for him to take one baby and me the other. One thing that is really annoying is how many people ask if its a girl and a boy or 2 girls. They both have pink covers!!! The first time someone said that to me I asked Richard "ok which one of them looks like a boy" Maybe I should always make sure they have bows in their hair.

Can't believe christmas is so close. It is funny how you are so excited when you are child and then you go through a time where you feel like an adult and miss how surprising christmas can be. Then when you have children it becomes so excited again. I know Christmas is about Jesus's birth but to see my child so anxious and excited makes all the lines, shopping and everything 100 percent worth it!

Things have been really crazy around here. It is hard to imagine what life is like with 3 children but I never could of imagined how busy it would keep me.... That being said, I still love it. Madalynn and Makenzie are doing good. Eating good... Sleeping good... and gaining weight well. At their last appointment they are already above their birth weights which is great! Maddie is 6 lbs 12oz and Makenzie is now 7lbs 1oz. I want them to gain weight and grow but there is another part of me that doesn't want them to get any bigger. With Kameryn we always wanted her to be bigger or walk or talk but this time around I am realizing that this is probably the last of the baby stage as a mother that I will witness and its a little sad. I just want to stop time and enjoy every moment but with being so busy it is hard.... We gotten the girls on a really good schedule. We have to wake them up for their night feedings. Luckily the doctor said that after they are a month old we can let them sleep and not wake them for feedings at night. Makenzie smiled at me today.... Although she and Maddie have been smiling in their sleep today was the first day I was holding her and I smiled at her and she smiled back several times. I was very happy!!

Kameryn is doing really well. She is excited for her christmas program at school next week. Hard to believe it is already almost December... I have been working with her on a bible verse that she has to learn for the program. It is funny listening to her repeat it. She had also been practicing the songs she has to sing. They are very cute! We are super excited to see the program. Kameryn is also still very excited about the babies. She is such the little mother around here. She is always wanting to hold the babies and kiss on them. She says everyday that she is so happy to have the babies at her house. I am very glad!

So Thanksgiving was good this year. We have a lot to be thankful for. We are soo thankful and blessed for our beautiful daughters. We are thankful that god gave us another chance to be parents again and know that the struggles that we went to get pregnant for a while was all worth it. I have always wanted to control and plan for every aspect of my life and over the last year I have realized that I can't. I had to rely on faith and love and the unexpected outcomes of life. Which was something that was really hard for me. I am very thankful for my husband as well. He has always loved and supported me through the years and he has given me 3 beautiful children to watch grow. That is the best gift I have ever received. He has also been very helpful while I have recovered and adjusted to my new life. We are very thankful for the support and help that we have received... I am not one to ever ask for help or advice but we are overwhelmed on how much people have been there for us. Whether it be to see the girls, bring over meals or just be there when we needed someone to talk to. We are very grateful for everything!

So we came home from the hospital on saturday. Kameryn was really happy because she had a really hard time with me not being here at nights. I really just wanted to be home because I was tired of the hospital and being confined to one room. The girls have done really good about sticking to a schedule up until last night. They woke up at 5am to eat and didn't want to go back to sleep until 8:30 which is really not like them. So I am a little exhausted today but its all a part of being a mom.

The girls had their first doctors appointment today. Things went ok. The doctor found a small lump (the size of a pen tip) on Kenzie's belly so tomorrow we are taking her to get it checked out. I am hoping that everything turns out ok but I am really nervous about it all. Other than that the girls are doing great. Gaining weight and almost up to their birth weights which the doctor said doesn't usually happen until they are 2 weeks old. They got checked today for jaundice since their levels were low at the hospital they wanted to make sure and everything turned out fine there. The girls are eating great too. Last night we gave them their first bath here which had to be a sponge bath since they still have their cords. Neither one liked it at all. Kameryn was happy to be able to help. Kameryn is really loving on her sisters but has picked Kenzie has her favorite so we have to remind her to give Maddie so attention :) But Kameryn is enjoying her new role as a big sister (and a little mother).

We go tomorrow to get the girls pictures taken for christmas and birth. We are really excited! It was going to be a family picture but my bell's palsy has not totally cleared up yet so I don't really feel comfortable in the picture. Other than that I am doing good. I am still really sore, and tired but each day it is getting better. Maybe tonight the girls will let me sleep ;)

New Arrivals

They finally made it. Madalynn Daisy and Makenzie Rose made there way to our hearts yesterday. Madalynn was born at 12:33 on 11/12/08. She was an 18.25 inches long and 6 lbs 2 oz blonde. Makenzie was a 19 inches long and 6 lbs 12 oz brunette. They are both beautiful babies. We are so grateful that everyone is healthy. Julia is still recovering from the C-Section. She is walking around the room every once in a while, but still has sharp pains from the opperation. Julia and the babies are getting some much needed rest at the moment, while Kameryn enjoys another afternoon out to lunch with Grandma Kathy. She should be back soon. Just in time for everyone to wake up, I'm sure.

Fall Fun

Richard took Kameryn out today and she loves playing in the leaves. She also likes to be able to help with yard work, it is very cute! She is getting very excited about her sisters getting here. I know that she will make a great big sister! I think we are now ready for the girls to be here. Crazy to think in a few days our lives are about to change completely but we are really excited about it and look forwatd to the new challenge and welcoming the new family members!

It has been a while since my last post.... Things have been crazy around here getting ready for the babies arrival next week. When we first started this pregnancy and knew that it was twins we always thought that we would have the girls early. So now that my 38 week scheduled c-section is quickly approaching we are realizing that maybe the girls are not ready to come out.

Kameryn had a good Halloween. She is really getting the hang of the whole trick or treating process. I just have to make sure the candy is put up high so that she doesn't get too many treats. She went out trick or treating with her cousins and Jay dressed up like the guy from scream with blood in the mask... She really wasn't too happy about that. Even today almost a week after Halloween she ask me why he couldn't just be a football guy who wasn't scary. But all and all she had a good time.

I have been doing alright. I took my first trip to the ER on monday. I was having numbness in the left side of my face. I was diagnoised with bell's palsy, which is when half of your face is paralyzed. Although mine is not fully paralyzed on the left side I can't smile normal, drink without a straw or eat with my mouth closed which has been really hard for Kameryn because mommy has always preached that to her. So this has all made me really self concious. I guess the stress the pregnancy has put on my body could have caused this and it will most likely be gone in a couple of weeks! Good thing is that it isn't affecting the babies and the medicines that I am no are not affecting them at all. My doctor is out of town until monday and I wish she was in town to assure me that everything is going to be alright but...

Richard has been getting nervous too about that babies. I think we both are because we don't know what to expect. I will have to post some belly photos later because the girls have really grown and so have I but it still doesn't feel like my belly is big enough for 2. They should be born next week around 6lbs which is a good weight for twins. I will make sure we post when they get here!

Boo Springs....

Yesterday we took Kameryn to the Boo Springs Harvest Fest here in town. She had a fun time trick or treating at the stores downtown. She was a little scared by some of the people dressed in costumes... I really think she had a great time. She loved wearing her cheerleader costume and didn't want to take it off.

Later that night we took her to a park and let her play. She always enjoys doing that. This playground area was for older children so when she climbed up high it made me really nervous. It is amazing how fast she has learned to play at the playground and doesn't need mom and dads help as much anymore :( We have a really great time at the park. We went to Waterfall Park right by the New Bass Pro Shop and it was a really nice one to go to.

Today we went to see High School Musical 3. Kameryn had a blast and was up dancing in front of her seat. She has been so excited for so long to see this movie. I am so glad that we were able to take her. Now she just has a hard time understanding why we can't buy the movie now and watch it here all the time.

I had my 35 weeks doctor appointment today.... Everything went good. Girls are still doing really well. I am now measuring 46 weeks so I have grown 3 weeks in one week :) Makenzie was very active today and Madalynn just wanted to nap. Kameryn kept telling the nurse to buzz Madalynn and wake her up. Anyways they both kicked and breathed so we passed again.

Everyone around here has been sick.... I guess Richard was nice enough to pass it along to all of us :) I took Kameryn to the doctors today and its just viral, no infections. I guess we can all get these sickness out of the way before the babies get here. It has been really hard to be sick when I am this far along pregnant. Like I need something else to keep me up at night.

Kameryn said the funniest thing to us today that I thought I would share. She said "Do you think I was born yesterday with these wrinkles". I have no clue where she got it from but it was pretty funny.

Tomorrow High School Musical 3 cd comes out and she is super excited. The movie also comes out friday so we already have our tickets. That seems to be all Kam can talk about all week. I am pretty excited too :)

First Blog.....

Today we are starting a family blog to keep everyone up to date..... We are all getting ready for the babies arrival. I am 34 and a half weeks now and the doctor said if I went into labor she would not stop it. Very exciting and scary. I don't think it has set in for me that the babies are coming. We went through a long process to get pregnant and then most of my pregnacy I didn't even feel pregnant and now it is just all to hard to believe that the babies will be here in 3 and a half weeks or less. We have gotten most of the stuff done in the twins room. I am still trying to figure out how I want the wall decorations and other things like that but it is something that we can figure out as we go. Lately I have been feeling really pregnant. I can not believe how much my stomach has grown over the last 2 weeks. I went from measuring 38 weeks to 43 weeks so now I am officially bigger than a woman pregnant with a single baby. My back, has been hurting me really bad and I am having a hard time sleeping (doesn't make it easier when the dog next door barked all night long)...... But all and all I am super excited about the girls getting here! I can't wait to see what they look like.

Kameryn has been doing really well in school... She loves it. I prepared myself for her to cry when she went and she didn't. She loves learning! Richard and I work with her a lot and are very proud of how smart she has become. The other day she went to a screening for 3 year olds at parents as teachers and she scored really well. She was gone for maybe 15 minutes with the educators and when she came back to me she said "I missed you so much!" That made my day! Lately she has been commenting to me all the time about how big my belly is. I think she is really starting to realize something is in there and they are coming out soon. She keeps talking about all the things she is going teach her sisters when they get here. I think she imagines them coming out her size! I always worry how she is going to take to it. We feel really blessed for Kameryn and as a parent getting ready to have more I always worry if I will be able to give her enough attention. For 3 years she has been my life and I want her to always feel that way but at the same time give her sisters the attention to.

Richard has been working hard lately.... Today he was sick and finally took a day off because he needed to go to the doctors. Sure enough... double ear infection. He just had a birthday a couple weeks ago and has been trying to use all his new things, it is hilarious! Doctor told him that he needed to rest this weekend so he was pretty upset about having to take it easy. He has been really helpful with me because in the evenings I have a hard time walking and rolling over. He is extremely excited about the babies but I think he is a little nervous as well. Kameryn and him have started to bond a little more....Which has been good. She has always been such a mommy's girl and now she is starting to realize that daddy is cool too.

Anyways here is our update for now... Sorry so long have a lot going on.... check back frequently for updates and pictures!!!
